Tomorrow at SMYRC!

September 10, 2010

Interested in doing some self publishing? Come one, come all to a zine workshop at SMYRC on Sept 11th from 5-7pm.

New volunteer Allison and Cathy from the Multnomah County Library will be bringing some of their knowledge of the history of zines but also bringing all sorts of fun supplies, clip art, design ideas and more for you to make your own! Zines can be personal, political, silly, abstract, factual, or whatever magic you’ve got to dream up! Want to help make a zine to use for outreach to the larger Portland community? Come to this workshop!

Want to learn about more zines? Check out the Queer Zine Archive Project (and print off your very own copies of some queertastic zines) and the Multnomah County Library’s zine website
